OUR REVIEWS

Chicken Tikka Masala Combo with Naan (Affirmed in Part, Remanded in Part)

The chicken tikka masala is “not heavily spiced” but “enjoyable” with a “spicy” creamy, tomato-based sauce. The basmatic rice is “as it should have been.” The naan is “soft and chewy in the right kind of way.” For the full review, see In re Salt and Pepper Grill, 8 Catt. 2 (2012).

Seekh Kabab, Palak Paneer, Chickpeas, Potato Curry, Roti (Affirmed in Part, Remanded in Part)

The seekh kabab is “disappointing,” with “flavorful,” “spicy” minced meat that was “dry” and served in a “smaller portion” than elsewhere. The palak paneer, however, is “excellent,” with pureed spinach and cheese curds swimming “in a delicious, creaming curry.” The chickpeas and potato curry are “good” but unremarkable. The roti is also “disappointing” — “dry, tough, and chewy.” For the full review, see In re Salt and Pepper Grill, 6 Catt. 1 (2012).
