18-Hour Beef Bánh Mì (Affirmed in Part, Remanded in Part)

The brisket was “rather good” and the “fat, rendered almost to jelly, was left in, which made for a particularly rich sandwich.” However, it tasted “more Eastern European than Vietnamese.” The bread suffered from “the same authenticity problem” and read more like a “hoagie roll” than a baguette.
